Safety Precautions while using Microwave.

•Use gloves while removing a hot dish from the oven.
•Do not make attempt to make any adjustments or repairs to the door or panel, safety lock ,switches or any other part of the oven.
•Do not use news paper,brown paper in place of paper napkins for reheating.
•Do not operate the oven when empty.
•Do not defrost/heat tinned food in microwaves.
•Do not try to deep fry in the microwave.
•Do not rinse the turn table by placing it in water for washing just after cooking or it may break.
•Be certain to place the microwave oven at least 8 cms.away from the wall.
•Do not cook eggs in their shell or it may burst.
•Always keep your oven clean.
•Do not cover the ventilation slots
•Remove the plastic wrapping of food before cooking.

Some Key Tips:

1.Popcorns:

Take 1 cup of corn kernels.Add butter and chat masala .Microwave for 3-4 mins.at 100% power in a microwave safe bowl(covered with cling film with a ven on the top)

2.Noodels:

In a microwave safe bowl,boil 1.5 cups of water at 100% power for 3-4 mins .Add 100gms of noodles and taste maker.Microwave for 2 mins.at 100% power.Microwave 50 gms .macroni in 2 cups of water and salt for 5 -6 mins.Drain and wash with plenty of cold water.

3.Pappad:

Place 4 pappads on the turn table on a tissue paper.Sprinkle some water over them. Microwave for 2 mins at 100% power .Reposition and turn over.Brush with oil for the crispy taste.

4.Paneer:

In a microwave safe bowl, boil 2 cups of milk at 100% power for 6-7 mins. Add 5 tsp of curd. Stir and microwave for 2 mins. at 100% power.Wait till paneer seperates.Strain it and set it.

5.Ghee:

Microwave butter in a deep microwave safe bowl for 7-8 mins.at 80% power (covered).Ghee will separate from the solid .When cool,strain it and store in bottles.

6.Garlic bread:

Apply butter and garlic paste on 2 bread slices.Microwave at 100% power for 2 mins .on the turn table on the tissue paper.When cool,it becomes crispy.

7.Bread Crumbs:

Spread 1 cup of small bread pieces on the turn table on the tissue paper.Microwave for 2-3 mins.at 100% power. When cool it becomes crunchy and crispy.

8. Coconut Milk:

Microwave 1 cup of grated coconut in 2 cups of water at 100% power for 5-6 mins.in a microwave safe bowl.Allow to stand for 5 mns .starin it and collect the coconut milk.

9.Instant Soups:

To prepare 1 small packet(30 gms) of soup,mix the contents in 300ml of cold water in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 100% power for 3-4 mns .stir and microwave at 60% power for 3-4 mins.till thick.

10. Blanching Almonds:

Add .5 cup of almonds to 1 cup of water. Microwave covered at 100% power for 3-4 mns .in a microwave safe bowl.Allow to stand for 5 mns.
